Words are powerful things. They can help you make sense of your emotions and experiences, help you understand how your past is affecting your present, help you improve your relationships, and help you make decisions.
Together, we can work to find the words you need, whether you are navigating grief, loss, depression, anxiety, or trauma, coping with changes in your life, having difficulties with relationships, or struggling to communicate. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I hold a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, an Honours Bachelor degree in psychology from Queen’s University, and a Masters of Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
My practice draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and solution-focussed therapy, and is also informed by more than 15 years of experience as an adult educator. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgement-free, and collaborative environment that focusses on your needs and goals. I am an LGBTQ+ ally, and I welcome people who are in non-traditional relationships. I look forward to talking with you.
